Privacy Policy
Thumelio creates thumbnail artwork on iPad and Mac. This policy explains the information processed by the app and its cloud generation service.
Information we process
- Account identifier: Sign in with Apple provides a private identifier used to maintain generation credits. Thumelio does not request your name or email address.
- Generation content: Your video concept, audience, style selections, supporting details, generated headline, and generated image are processed to provide generation.
- Purchase records: App Store product and transaction identifiers deliver purchased credits, prevent duplicate claims, and handle refunds.
- Security data: One-way security markers enforce request limits and prevent repeated monthly free-credit claims.
- Support requests: If you contact support, we receive the name, email address, topic, and message you submit so we can reply and resolve the request.
How information is used and shared
Generation content is sent to Thumelio's service and Google Gemini solely to plan and generate the requested thumbnail. Apple processes Sign in with Apple and in-app purchases under Apple's policies. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or track you across apps and websites.
Local files
Your History, edits, exports, and imported graphics are stored locally on your device. Images selected in the editor are not uploaded by the cloud generation flow.
Retention
Server copies of generation briefs and generated images are removed automatically after 24 hours. Authentication and credit records are kept while your account is active. After deletion, an unrecoverable keyed marker and remaining monthly allowance may be retained only until the next UTC monthly reset to prevent repeated free-credit claims. Limited purchase records may be retained for transaction integrity, refunds, accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably necessary to answer the request, keep service records, and meet legal obligations.
Your choices and deletion
You can sign out at any time. Delete the cloud account and associated generation content under Thumelio → Settings → Account Data. Local History is not deleted automatically and can be removed separately in the app.
Security and children
We use HTTPS, short-lived sessions, secure token storage, and access controls designed to protect account data. Thumelio is not directed to children.
